1. Who this notice is from
This notice describes how Asirio Limited (亞思睿有限公司), a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Business Registration No. 81247485), handles personal data collected through the contact form on https://asirio.net. It follows the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong.
By sending the form you confirm that you have read this notice. If you would rather not use the form, you can write to us by email instead.
2. What we collect
Through the contact form we receive only what you type in yourself: your name, a contact for our reply (an email address or a messenger handle) and the text of your message.
All three fields are needed: without a name and a contact we cannot reply, and without the message there is nothing to reply to. Providing them is voluntary; if you prefer not to, you can simply not send the form.
We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, any sensitive personal data.
Any web analytics used on this site collects only aggregated technical data such as browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed. That data does not identify you.
3. Why we collect it
The data from the form is used for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and to discuss possible work together.
We do not use it for mailing lists, do not pass it to anyone for advertising and do not sell it. In particular, we do not use it for direct marketing within the meaning of Part 6A of the Ordinance.
4. How long we keep it
We keep the data until your enquiry is closed. After that it is deleted, unless we go on to work together and the correspondence becomes part of that engagement.
5. Who else sees it
The message from the form is delivered to us as an email through the email provider we use for the asirio.net domain. That provider processes the message only in order to deliver it, and may store it on servers outside Hong Kong.
Beyond that, the data is not shared with any third party, except where the law requires it.
6. Your rights
Under the Ordinance you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to receive a copy of it, and to have it corrected. Requests go to info@asirio.net; we answer within the 40 days the Ordinance allows.
You can also ask us to delete your data at any time. We do so unless we are required to keep it, and confirm by email when it is done.
7. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The current version is always available at this address, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
